Wow. What a statement, huh? But if anything is true, that’s got to be. Which sort of, or completely, contradicts the message on the shirt. But really, does anything objectively ‘mean’ anything? I mean sure, we can all agree that some things are bad. Like our loved ones dying or getting sick. Or our shit getting stolen. But does that make it objectively true? It’s more that we can agree we don’t like those things. Not really objective.
This is probably about as deep as a pamphlet for a community college Intro to Philosophy course. But I’m not smart enough for college so who cares. Fucking eggheads.
So yeah, nothing means anything … except – and here, my friends, is the crux of the biscuit! – except for the meaning we give it! Fuck that’s deep. Though since we human-folk came up with the concept of meaning, not even the concept of meaning has, you know, meaning. Or maybe it does, since meaning is a human concept, and I’m a human talking about the meaning of meaning. And you know what I mean, so I guess it does have meaning. Holy shit, did I just write that?!?! I could totally wipe the floor with that stupid Intro to Philosophy course! I don’t even have to go to it. Or if I did I wouldn’t even raise my hand. Not because I’m shy though.
